I took this photo at a memorial garden behind the Convention Center in Mcallen. The butterflies were out and I was able to get close enough to capture their beauty. There is some distraction in the background of the picture but the magnificant beauty of this butterfly really drowns out the clutter. The sun happend to hit his wings in a way that brought out the dark orange that he was showing off and that helps to draw the attention to him.
