I took this photograph at the Art of Science Museum in Mcallen. The natural sunlight brings about the shadows on the Aztec man's face, making the photo look as if you are standing right there in the image. The texture of the man's face also stands out more because of the way the sun was hitting the statue itself. This adds even more life to the photograph. I included the palm tree in the background also because it gives the statue some shelter from the weather and it brings out the attention to focus mostly only on the statue itself.
